ECB2026: Innovations for healthy living
The European Congress on Biotechnology (ECB2026) is set to take place in Antwerp (Belgium), on 28 June - 1 July 2026. This year’s congress, under the theme “Shaping tomorrow: Biotechnology for Health, Food, Energy, Environment”.

PYFF9 Conference: Keynote Speakers announced
The Conference on Physiology of Yeasts and Filamentous Fungi (PYFF9) will take place in Valencia, Spain on 8-11 September 2026, and the keynote speakers are:

Joseph Schacherer (University of Strasbourg, France) will give the Opening Keynote Lecture.

Antonio Di Pietro (University of Córdoba, Spain) will deliver the Closing Keynote Lecture on “Transposons and accessory regions drive adaptation in a clonal evolving fungal pathogen.”
The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including fungal evolution, pathogenesis, synthetic biology, and the role of fungi in sustainable industries.
